Lead, Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Completing the rollout of the next version of our platform while the current one keeps serving live
• Moving acquired sites, which currently deploy in their own ways, onto a common build and release
• Strengthening edge protection and resilience so the platform absorbs traffic spikes and hostile
• Giving every team clear visibility of what's deployed, when, and how often.
• Defining the route from prototype to production, including the checks a service needs before it
• Design, build and run scalable, secure infrastructure on GCP, defined in Terraform.

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience as a platform, cloud or infrastructure engineer, including time as the
• Deep, hands-on experience with GCP, including GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage
• Strong Terraform skills and experience running infrastructure as code in production.
• Experience building and running CI/CD pipelines, ideally in GitHub Actions.
• Solid Docker and Kubernetes experience, including cluster networking and ingress.
• Scripting and programming ability in Python, Go or Bash.
