Lead Product Designer/Mechanical Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead product development from concept to mass production for SubPac hardware
• Design assemblies with DFx principles and validate them
• Collaborate with ID, EE, R&D, ops to hit NPI targets
• Coordinate with Asian manufacturing partners on tooling and EVT/DVT/PVT
• Design products with thermal, vibrational and acoustic interactions
• Document processes and update PLM and parts library

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years product development experience – consumer electronics from concept to mass production
• BSME, MSME or equivalent
• Advanced CAD solid modeling, cosmetic surfacing, tolerance stackups; master modeling a plus
• Self-starter; able to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Experience evaluating and selecting vendors
• Willingness to travel to Asia
