Lead Project Manager (VA ESOM - PMCoE)

📋 Description

• Lead all phases of IT project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring
• Serve as the operational team lead for the PMCoE, providing day-to-day coordination, guidance, and
• Develop formal project charters and establish clear project objectives, roles, responsibilities
• Create and maintain detailed project plans, Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), and deliverables-based
• Facilitate project kickoffs, status meetings, reviews, and closeout sessions with project teams
• Monitor milestones, critical dates, dependencies, and deliverables while identifying potential

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or a related scientific or
• 10+ years of program or project management experience, including substantial experience managing
• PMP certification or an equivalent recognized project management certification.
• Demonstrated experience leading and coordinating large project management teams in complex IT
• Strong knowledge of project and lifecycle management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• Proven experience tracking project cost, schedule, resources, deliverables, and performance.
