Lead Prototype Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of prototype engineers and technicians
• Drive troubleshooting and resolution of complex electrical issues in prototype humanoid robots
• Own electrical bring-up of new prototype builds including power distribution, motor drive and
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, firmware, and software engineers on prototype design and
• Define and enforce test procedures, troubleshooting guides, and repair runbooks
• Design and iterate on cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and test jigs

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on electrical engineering background in rapid prototyping and debugging custom hardware
• Deep knowledge of low-voltage power, mixed-signal circuits, motor drives, connectors, sensors
• Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and bench instrumentation
• Ability to read schematics and PCB layouts, perform board-level rework
• Prior leadership or mentoring experience
• Strong documentation and communication skills
