  • Lead applied research projects with quantitative and qualitative methods.
  • Develop and pursue new research opportunities and client engagements.
  • Own delivery of project deliverables with timelines and quality control.

  • Offer subject-matter expertise in disaster resilience, climate adaptation, insurance, and disaster

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in disaster science, actuarial science, geoinformatics, emergency management
  • Deep knowledge of disaster insurance models and disaster finance.
  • Strong understanding of resilience factors across social, institutional, and infrastructure
  • Experience with climate hazard modelling (flooding, wildfire, etc.) is a plus.
  • GIS tools knowledge (QGIS) and qualitative analysis tools (NVivo) are assets.
  • Advanced Excel and ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights.
