Lead Risk Analyst

📋 Description

• Review P&L, balance sheet, cash flow to assess counterparty creditworthiness.
• Calculate leverage, liquidity and coverage ratios to measure risk.
• Write credit memos with risk assessments and approval recommendations.
• Set reserve levels and exposure limits based on financial profile.
• Monitor counterparty health and market signals for changes.
• Use SQL, Python, Looker/Hex to query risk data and build dashboards.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or related field; CFA or CPA a plus.
• 5+ years in credit underwriting for counterparty risk and financial analysis (SMBs preferred).
• Strong foundation in financial modeling and credit ratio analysis.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, and platforms like Hex and Snowflake.
• Experience with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar.
• Demonstrated ability to make independent, data-backed underwriting decisions.
