Lead Safety Systems Engineer

📋 Description

• Define system safety architecture and validation framework for AIM machines.
• Lead hazard analysis and risk management across hardware, software, and ops.
• Define Operational Design Domains (ODD) and safety perimeters.
• Design safety mechanisms: redundancy, fault detection, safe-state transitions.
• Lead verification/validation strategies: simulation, SIL, HIL, field tests.
• Build fleet safety observability with telemetry and safety metrics.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Robotics, or related field.
• 7+ years designing or validating safety-critical systems.
• Experience with FMEA, HAZOP, FTA, or STPA.
• Strong hardware-software integration understanding.
• Experience with verification and validation for complex systems.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
