Lead SEC Analyst

📋 Description

• Own SEC reporting processes, including quarterly/annual filings and related materials.
• Manage reporting calendars, coordinate cross-functional contributors, and address risks.
• Lead earnings release activities and preparation of management reporting packages.
• Oversee disclosure controls, checklists, and XBRL reviews to improve accuracy.
• Analyze and optimize SEC workflows, reduce manual tasks, and automate where possible.
• Prepare and review accounting docs such as journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification or active progress toward CPA licensure preferred.
• Experience managing SEC deliverables (10-K/10-Q) in public companies.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC reporting, and disclosures.
• Demonstrated ability to improve reporting processes and drive efficiencies.
• Strong project management skills; manage deadlines and coordinate stakeholders.
