Provide fire protection engineering services (life safety, design, alarm, smoke control)
Develop plans, specifications, and inspection reports
Perform field investigations and detailed design reviews
Reference applicable codes and standards for inquiries
Conduct building code analyses, egress analyses, and system reviews
Manage projects: scope, schedule, budget; coordinate resources

🎯 Requirements

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher
5+ years of experience in fire protection engineering
Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas preferred
Strong written and oral communication skills
Must be local to the Austin, Allen, Houston, or Denver metro areas
Ability to travel to job sites in Texas, Colorado and/or surrounding states
