Lead Software Developer

📋 Description

• Independently and proactively identify key areas of architecture improvement, including preparing
• Lead, oversee and plan the development of scalable code, prototypes, minimum viable products and
• Take ownership of complex/ long-term projects and contribute to their implementation, including
• Collaborate with other development teams on design and implementation of features spanning multiple
• Conduct comprehensive testing and code reviews to ensure that code quality is maximized and
• Provide expert project-leadership and guidance as a SME, to the department and larger organization.

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years of required of professional experience developing and supporting production software using
• Post-secondary Diploma/Degree with specialization in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a
• Experience diagnosing production issues using logs and tools such as BigQuery and Sentry.
• Proven expertise in design and architecture, particularly for large production systems spanning
• Experience with SQL Server and Postgres database design, optimization and writing queries.
• Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, ES6
