Lead Software Engineer (Java & AI-Driven Development)

📋 Description

• Drive technical direction for major WFM capabilities and cross-functional initiatives.
• Design and develop scalable, secure server-side solutions using Java.
• Define and promote architecture standards, engineering best practices, and reusable patterns.
• Lead design reviews and architectural decisions for complex challenges.
• Own and evolve AI-assisted development practices, with coding agents, workflows, and guardrails.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical architecture and milestones.

🎯 Requirements

• 12+ years of software engineering experience with Java web development.
• Proven experience leading architecture and initiatives across multiple teams.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, REST APIs, JUnit, Mockito.
• Experience building and supporting complex enterprise-scale, multi-tier apps.
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) and agentic AI concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD, TDD, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
