Lead Structures Engineer – Special Programs

📋 Description

• Lead structural design and analysis for prototypes (airframe, loads, substantiation)
• Support rapid prototyping from concept through test
• Own the structural discipline within Special Programs: standards and methods
• Conduct feasibility assessments of new opportunities (RFPs, mission needs)
• Cross-functional contributor across Special Programs when needed
• Produce documentation and trade studies for reviews and decisions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering; advanced degree a plus
• 8-12 years of relevant engineering experience
• Demonstrated aerospace structural design and loads analysis
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis tools (FEA, hand calc, standards)
• Ability to work across full development lifecycle and contribute beyond core area
• Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain/maintain a U.S. government security clearance
