Lead Supplier Quality Engineer

📋 Description

• Lead supplier selection activities through Supplier Readiness Reviews, qualification audits
• Conduct periodic and surveillance audits, coordinate supplier self-assessments, and support audit
• Work with product lines and global commodity leaders to address critical supplier performance
• Lead investigations into supplier non-conformities, drive root cause analysis, ensure effective
• Analyze key performance indicators and supply chain intelligence to identify competency gaps
• Partner with suppliers in India to develop parts and products that meet requirements from

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a four-year college or university, with 14+ years
• Significant experience in quality engineering, supplier quality engineering, or product development
• Experience working with low-cost-country supply chains, including knowledge of Incoterms, packaging
• Strong knowledge of supplier auditing and ISO 9001 standards, with practical experience applying
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and proven
• Ability to interpret technical procedures, engineering drawings, governmental regulations, quality
