• Develop, benchmark, and archive premium leather materials for handbags and accessories.
• Establish Leather Library for consistency and innovation.
• Define quality standards for leather performance, durability, aesthetics.
• Collaborate with QA/QC to address defects, color variation, wear.
• Identify and evaluate global leather suppliers for traceability and ethics.
• Manage vendor performance and drive improvements in material quality.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Material Science, Leather Technology, or related field.
• 8+ years of leather material development, sourcing, or QA/QC in luxury brands.
• Strong knowledge of leather tanning, finishing, and testing methods.
• Proven track record in vendor management and supply chain optimization.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to collaborate globally.
• Passion for craftsmanship, innovation, and sustainability in leather goods.
