Legal Business Partner

📋 Description

• Serve as the primary legal business partner for commercial, partnerships, and operations teams
• Draft, review, and negotiate merchant, partner, vendor, and other commercial agreements across
• Apply established global contracting playbooks while identifying opportunities to improve
• Advise business stakeholders on payments regulation and data protection requirements, including
• Partner with the global Legal and Compliance team to assess regulatory developments and maintain an
• Support the company’s regulatory positioning as a technology orchestration layer that does not hold

🎯 Requirements

• Law degree and qualification to practice in at least one relevant jurisdiction within the region.
• 6–8 years of legal experience gained across a combination of law firm and in-house environments.
• Strong experience in commercial contracts, contract drafting, and complex negotiations.
• Professional experience in payments, fintech, financial technology, or broader technology is
• Good working knowledge of European payments regulation and GDPR/data protection requirements.
• Exposure to legal and regulatory matters across the Middle East or Asia is an advantage.
