• Own the company's legal and compliance function end to end, ensuring existing operations remain
• Partner with product and engineering teams from the earliest stages of product design to identify

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active admission to practice law in at least one U.S. state.
• Demonstrated experience in a legal or compliance role within a fintech startup, preferably in a
• Experience taking regulated consumer financial products through their lifecycle, from initial
• Strong working knowledge of the consumer finance regulatory landscape, including FCRA, UDAAP
• Proven ability to assess regulatory risks pragmatically, identify the minimum requirements
• A track record of simplifying legal or compliance programs, consolidating overlapping requirements
