📋 Description

  • Advise Helsing’s UK and European teams on strategic and tactical legal matters across AI and
  • Structure, draft, negotiate and close contractual agreements and software licensing with government
  • Provide guidance on UK/EU defence procurement regulations, including single source contract rules.
  • Advise on export controls, IP, data privacy, and conflicts of interest under UK law; build scalable
  • Support product development with legal analysis on regulatory requirements to bring AI capabilities
  • Deliver corporate and regulatory support including governance, filings and compliance obligations.

🎯 Requirements

  • Qualified to practise law in England and Wales with post-qualification experience in private
  • Expertise in UK public procurement law, ideally including single source regulations and defence
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and closing complex tech licensing or software contracts with
  • Ability translate legal complexity into clear, actionable advice for senior stakeholders and
  • Working knowledge of export controls, IP and data privacy for tech companies in the defence sector.
  • Demonstrated conviction that democratic values are worth protecting and want to contribute with
