Legal Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as a strategic legal partner on commercial, regulatory, and operational matters
• Draft, review, and negotiate enterprise contracts, fintech services, partnerships, and data licensing
• Partner with Sales/Go-to-Market to accelerate deal velocity and strategic initiatives
• Build and maintain contract templates, playbooks, and legal workflows
• Support board and investor governance, including board materials and minutes
• Stay current on legal developments affecting AI technologies

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited law school; active membership in a U.S. state bar.
• 3-5 years of legal experience, including SaaS/tech contracts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Impeccable written and oral communication; explain issues to non-legal audiences.
• Experience advising regulated industries, fintech/payments, SaaS.
• New York or California Bar membership.
