Legal Counsel (Commercial)

📋 Description

• contributing to the design and implementation of new products and expansion into new markets, with
• drafting and negotiating third party contracts including sports sponsorship, partnership and
• advising on corporate structuring matters to maintain and develop Ebury’s corporate structure given
• day-to-day responsibility for legal matters in Canada and the USA, as well as supporting the global
• supporting the business on financial services regulatory matters across Canada and the United
• supporting corporate governance and entity management for Ebury's North American entities

🎯 Requirements

• a proactive mindset and an ability to communicate effectively in practical terms with stakeholders
• law degree in Canada or the United States
• at least 5 years of qualified experience, either in private practice or in house
• interest in the fintech sector and financial products
• fluency in French or Spanish desirable but not required
• experience working in the United States is desirable
