Legal Counsel, Commercial Contracts

📋 Description

• Advise on commercial matters with Sales, Success, Finance, Security, Product
• Negotiate and interpret SaaS, partner, NDA, and vendor contracts
• Address IP, data use, privacy, and compliance risks
• Help bring new offerings to market and advise on risk
• Create templates, playbooks, and guidance for faster deals
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate contract drafting and review

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school; active Bar
• 4-8 years negotiating SaaS, tech, licensing, and vendor agreements
• Knowledge of consumer data privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA, GLBA, FCRA)
• Experience with fintech, public sector sales contracts preferred
• Comfort using AI tools in daily workflow; project management skills
• Strong collaboration and ability to work in fast-paced startup
