Legal Counsel, Consumer Credit

📋 Description

• Monitor the legal and regulatory landscape for consumer finance in Denmark and the EU, and in Spain
• Maintain and update consumer credit agreements, customer terms and conditions, and pre-contractual
• Support relationships with bank and funding partners on legal and regulatory matters
• Draft and review commercial contracts, including merchant, partner, vendor, outsourcing, and data
• Provide legal review and sign-off on product launches, product changes, customer communications
• Act as primary counterpart to external legal advisors

🎯 Requirements

• Danish law degree
• 5+ years of legal experience, including at least 3 years at a law firm in banking and finance or
• Hands-on experience drafting consumer credit or financial services agreements
• Solid knowledge of Danish and EU consumer credit regulation
• Familiarity with payment services, AML, and GDPR
• Confident drafting and reviewing commercial contracts
