Legal Counsel, Government and Defense

📋 Description

• Support the review and negotiation of a variety of prime contracts, subcontracts, strategic
• Interpret and explain solicitation and contract requirements that apply to government contractors
• Review and negotiate vendor and supplier agreements for software, hardware, and services sourced
• Support Defense verticals' international growth by analyzing foreign government bid and contract
• Develop and assist in the implementation of scalable and sustainable legal operations processes
• Lead various compliance activities, reporting requirements, and internal investigations as required

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with a diverse range of U.S. Government contract types (e.g., FFP, T&M, CPFF) and
• In depth knowledge and practical experience advising clients on government procurement laws and
• Experience supporting proposal development — including familiarity with how to structure scope and
• The ability, through your own experience and knowledge or by working with outside counsel, to guide
• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active membership in one state bar
• 5+ years' of experience with the activities described above
