📋 Description

• Research and analyze complex legal questions across areas such as internet law, intellectual
• Own individualized legal projects based on interests and team needs.
• Draft and review legal documents, including licensing agreements, contracts, policies, guidelines
• Support development of internal and external policies addressing legal and operational issues.
• Work directly with a supervising attorney with mentorship throughout the fellowship.

• Current law student or recent law school graduate with interest in practical in-house experience.
• Enthusiasm for free knowledge, free culture, open source software, digital rights, and making
• Strong intellectual curiosity to tackle complex, ambiguous legal questions creatively.
• Excellent legal research and analytical skills; strong research backgrounds encouraged.
• Excellent written communication to explain sophisticated concepts to non-law audiences.
• Desirable coursework or experience in internet law, freedom of expression, IP, contract drafting
