Licensing and Compliance Specialist

📋 Description

• Supervise regulatory change monitoring, compliance research, and project management
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment on change management and policy implementation
• Act as SME on mortgage lending laws; advise on staying compliant while growing the business
• Collaborate with Mortgage Real Estate Services to improve documents and processes
• Coordinate monthly compliance calls: create deck, prep, follow-up, and lead the call
• Assist with audits including SSAE 18 and SOX

🎯 Requirements

• Compliance or audit experience with interpreting and tracking regulatory requirements
• Real estate experience creating processes and controls to ensure compliance
• Extensive knowledge of RESPA, FHA, GLBA, and state real estate rules
• Experience researching and implementing procedures to address laws and regs
• Demonstrated project management to define problems, collect data, and inform decisions
• Experience in the title industry is desirable
