Linux and Manufacturing Support Engineer

📋 Description

• Support the infrastructure that engineering and manufacturing teams depend on daily
• Solve problems directly, from support requests to complex Linux and network issues
• Manage Debian and RedHat environments across bare metal and virtual machines
• Maintain core services including DNS, DHCP, and NFS
• Support on-premises servers and engineering workflows
• Assess and deliver security patching

🎯 Requirements

• Strong Linux administration skills across Debian and RedHat derivatives, on bare metal and virtual
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting, with ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical
• Strong system administration experience, including responsibility for core infrastructure services
• Experience managing Infrastructure-as-Code using Puppet, Ansible or similar, with Git version
• Good networking knowledge, including VLANs, routing and subnetting
• Clear communication and customer service skills, with confidence supporting colleagues and
