• Develop new features within the Linux kernel for Pure's enterprise storage.
• Maintain and patch existing code to resolve customer issues.
• Optimize kernel performance within Pure's arrays to meet needs.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software boundary problems with partners.
• Lead architecture and development from concept to release.
• Participate in code reviews and define requirements with cross functional teams.

🎯 Requirements

• Deep hands-on Linux kernel and device driver development experience.
• Strong foundation in computer architecture, OS, networking, and data structures.
• Exceptional problem solving and debugging skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication of complex technical concepts.
• Experience optimizing performance across CPU, NUMA, interrupts, and threading.
• Experience upstreaming Linux kernel code.
