Linux Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap and lifecycle management.
• Define engineering standards and platform build patterns.
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud.
• Lead architecture discussions and key engineering decisions.
• Drive automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks and self-service capabilities.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10+ years in engineering and operating Linux at enterprise scale.
• Deep expertise in SUSE Linux or RHEL or equivalent.
• Bash and Python scripting; Perl is a plus.
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or similar IaC tools.
• VMware vSphere or equivalent virtualization experience.
