Linux Platform Engineer

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, including OS lifecycle, patching strategy
• Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability-focused processes across
• Design and implement scalable Linux solutions across on-premises and cloud infra.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage integration, and core Linux
• Lead architecture discussions, design reviews, and key engineering decisions for Linux platforms.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7–10+ years in engineering and operating Linux platforms in enterprise environments (8–10 years
• Deep expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent across large-scale deployments.
• Advanced Bash and Python scripting; Perl is a plus.
• Automation and IaC experience with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, or similar.
• Strong virtualization experience with VMware vSphere or equivalent.
