Linux Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own enterprise Linux platform roadmap for on-prem and cloud.
• Define engineering standards, build patterns, and reliability processes.
• Design scalable, resilient Linux solutions across environments.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
• Lead architecture discussions and technical design reviews.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Bash, Python).

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years engineering Linux platforms in enterprise settings.
• Expertise in SUSE Linux, RHEL or equivalent at scale.
• Proficient with Bash and Python; Perl a plus.
• Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.
• VMware vSphere or similar virtualization experience.
