Linux Platform Engineering

📋 Description

• Own the enterprise Linux platform roadmap, OS lifecycle, patching, standardization, and
• Define engineering standards, platform build patterns, and reliability practices.
• Design scalable Linux solutions across on-prem and cloud infra.
• Act as technical authority for compute, virtualization, storage, and core Linux services.
• Lead architecture discussions and design reviews for Linux platforms.
• Drive automation and IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Bash, and Python.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years building and operating Linux platforms in enterprise settings.
• Deep expertise with SUSE Linux, RHEL, or equivalent.
• Advanced Bash and Python scripting; Perl a plus.
• Automation/IaC with Ansible, Terraform, Puppet or similar.
• VMware vSphere or similar virtualization experience.
