Litigation Associate Attorney, (Employment Law) (Hybrid)

📋 Description

• Manage active docket of employment litigation from inception to resolution
• Conduct and defend depositions, including witness prep and examination
• Appear in court, administrative hearings, and mediation proceedings
• Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda and case strategy summaries
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to advance client matters
• Communicate with clients for case updates and gather information
• Monitor deadlines and ensure timely compliance with court and agency schedules

🎯 Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
• Active California State Bar in good standing
• 1–2 years in employment litigation
• Experience with court appearances and depositions
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
• Team-oriented, collaborative and professional
• Proficiency with Westlaw, Lexis and case management software
