M&A and Accounting Policy Manager

📋 Description

• Lead due diligence on target companies, including QoE and working capital.
• Own end-to-end purchase accounting under ASC 805.
• Drive accounting for strategic investments under ASC 321/323/810.
• Shape accounting policies via technical memos with external auditors.
• Deliver disclosures for 10-Q/10-K and ensure SOX controls are effective.
• Collaborate with Product, Legal, Tax, FP&A, Controllership for new launches.

🎯 Requirements

• 9+ years of progressive accounting; Big 4 + industry; CPA required.
• US GAAP breadth: M&A (ASC 805), investments (ASC 321/323), consolidation (ASC 810).
• Proven lead on financial due diligence across live deals.
• Experience managing external consultants across M&A workstreams.
• Draft technical memos and disclosures for cross-functional audiences.
• Uses generative AI responsibly with human oversight.
