Machine Learning Engineer - (Computer Vision)

📋 Description

• Lead the design and development of computer vision systems for biometrics (face attributes, detection, quality, and recognition)
• Rigorous fairness analysis and benchmarking of biometric models across various datasets and operating conditions.
• Architect, train, and optimize models with PyTorch, Tensorflow, and/or JAX
• Own end-to-end ML pipelines; design Airflow data ingestion and cleaning; curate diverse training data.
• Production Engineering: optimize models for low-latency inference (quantization, distillation, TensorRT/ONNX) and deploy on AWS.
• Mentor ML engineers; conduct code/design reviews; drive best practices across the Computer Vision team.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years ML exp; at least 3 years in biometrics/face analysis.
• Deep expertise in CV and biometrics, especially face recognition.
• Experience measuring and mitigating bias in CV models.
• Proficient in Python; experience with ML/vision libraries (Pillow, OpenCV, PyTorch); production-grade code.
• Design end-to-end ML pipelines; experience with Airflow.
• Experience scaling multi-GPU training; deploying on AWS (SageMaker, EC2, EKS).
