📋 Description

• Lead a Japan-based Application Engineer team focused on localising and advancing autonomous driving
• Drive autonomy features tailored to Japan’s road infrastructure and driving norms.
• Act as the technical bridge between the Japan office and HQ, aligning roadmaps and sharing local
• Oversee full development cycle from identifying needs to deploying features into production.
• Maintain high engineering standards while operating with agility and independence.
• Collaborate with OEM partners in Japan and shape joint development plans.

🎯 Requirements

• Background in robotics and autonomy; experience deploying real-world AV systems.
• Proven ability to lead and grow engineering teams, including distributed or independent settings.
• Comfort with ambiguity; able to define goals, roadmaps, and deliver high-impact work with minimal
• Broad technical fluency across software engineering, ML, controls, and systems integration.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to liaise with OEM customers.
