• Define Technical Vision & Strategy: Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for Feed Retrieval.
• Roadmap & Prioritization: Translate goals into a focused team roadmap with prioritization.
• Team Leadership & Development: Coach and grow ML engineers' skills and impact.
• Technical Execution & Delivery: Oversee design and optimization of retrieval systems.
• Measurement & Learning: Establish measurement, experimentation, and debugging practices.
• Recruiting & Growth: Partner with recruiting to attract and hire diverse ML engineers.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience Leading ML Teams: 2+ years leading ML or recommender-systems teams.
• Deep ML Expertise: Production ML systems incl. recommender retrieval, embeddings, transformers.
• Technical Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of retriever systems, embeddings, ranking, and personalization.
• Strategic Thinking: Develop and communicate a clear technical strategy across complex problems.
