📋 Description

• Conventional Machining: Safely operate manual machine tools—including lathes, milling machines, and
• Standards & Compliance: Prepare specimen samples in strict accordance with CSA, ASTM, and ASME
• Programming & Controls: Utilize Manual G-Code (Haas Control) and Conversational Programming
• Inspection & Quality Control: Measure and verify finished part conformance to strict tolerance
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Diagnose equipment issues and perform routine preventative
• Safety & Environment: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment under fast-paced

🎯 Requirements

• Certified Journeyperson with a valid, recognized credential.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience operating conventional/manual machines.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, engineering drawings, cutting tools, and
• Ability to perform standard machining duties, including standing for extended periods and lifting
• Problem-solving mindset, strong time management, continuous improvement focus, and ability to work
• Background or experience working within a material testing environment (preferred).
