Machinist

📋 Description

• Program and machine high-precision, quick-turn projects.
• Machine raw stock, weldments, and modify components.
• Complete machining from blueprints, drawings, and models.
• Set up, operate, and prove-out Proto Trak CNC mills/lathes and other equipment.
• Look critically at part processes to drive efficiency and quality.
• Provide feedback to engineers/designers to improve quality at the machine.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years CNC milling or lathe experience.
• 3+ years reading G-code and programming toolpaths.
• Basic knowledge of cutting tools, speeds and feeds.
• Ability to read engineering prints; GD&T interpretation.
• Experience developing work holding and fixturing for quality parts.
