Maintenance Mechanic

📋 Description

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and buildings including
• Repair and/or replace motors, speed reduction/gear boxes, chain drives, rollers, belt lacing and
• Make repairs or replacements to air handling systems utilizing blowers of various types
• Fabricate, repair, and install all types of guarding on material handling equipment
• Repair building plumbing systems and their components
• Fit, install and repair piping and tubing systems

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the field of industrial maintenance
• A.S. Engineering Technology or equivalent or Vocational School training in a related field
• Welding certification (preferred)
• Prior certifications as an operator of material handling equipment (forklifts, telehandlers
• Experience rigging and moving equipment (preferred)
• Training in electrical safety and/or NFPA 70E (preferred)
