Major Gifts Officer

📋 Description

• Manage and grow a portfolio of current, prospective, and lapsed donors, beginning at the $5,000
• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit, renew, upgrade, and steward supporters using personalized
• Conduct donor meetings, make direct gift requests, and secure high five-figure and low six-figure
• Develop compelling pitches, proposals, reports, grant applications, correspondence, briefings, and
• Maintain accurate donor records, opportunities, next actions, stages, and forecasts in Salesforce
• Use CRM data to support segmentation, portfolio analysis, donor progression, revenue forecasting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and/or at least five years of progressively responsible fundraising experience
• Demonstrated success managing a major-gift portfolio and identifying, cultivating, soliciting
• Proven ability to close high five-figure gifts and experience closing or substantially contributing
• Strong understanding of the full donor lifecycle, moves management, portfolio strategy, and donor
• Strong oral, written, analytical, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to communicate
• Advanced experience using Salesforce or a comparable fundraising CRM, including maintaining
