Major Gifts Officer

📋 Description

• Build and manage a 125-donor major gifts portfolio with personalized engagement.
• Build long-term, trust-based donor partnerships tied to impact.
• Conduct regular touchpoints with major donors through meetings, calls, and notes.
• Develop and lead a major gifts strategy to support annual budget and growth.
• Grow a healthy pipeline of prospective major donors for future ministry.
• Track activity in CRM and provide regular reporting to leadership.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Advanced degree, CFRE, or equivalent preferred.
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Proven track record leading a major donor program or team.
• Financial fluency in giving vehicles (cash, securities, DAFs, stock).
• Strong knowledge of donor-related tax considerations and advisor collaboration.
