Make Ready Technician

📋 Description

• Assist residents with open work orders by making minor repairs in apartments
• Support Lead Maintenance Technician on routine maintenance and capital projects
• Walk the property daily; know grounds and buildings; clear debris
• Turn around vacant units and prepare them for new residents
• Respond to assigned work orders promptly; communicate with Supervisor/Manager
• Adhere to safety policies and Fair Housing regulations

🎯 Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Experience in plumbing, drywall, painting, carpentry, appliance repair, or related trades
• Experience closing work orders and turning apartments in garden-style communities
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High school diploma; technical school preferred but not required
