Malware & Abuse Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor, investigate, and resolve malware, spam, and IP blocklisting issues.
• Investigate malware cases escalated from the Support team.
• Write and document new malware signature rules for customer scanning tools.
• Document remediation processes for malware infections and DMCA removals.
• Monitor internal tools to detect spam or blocklisting; alert customers as needed.
• Provide feedback to improve malware detection and remediation tools.

🎯 Requirements

• Fluent in English with excellent written communication.
• Experience detecting, investigating, and resolving malware infections in PHP and JavaScript.
• Experience writing and applying regular expressions.
• Familiarity with WordPress, wp-config.php directives, and common malware vectors.
• Comfortable working in a command line environment.
• Professional, reliable, and able to work in a distributed team.
