Managed Services Engineer

📋 Description

• Managed Firewall Operations - own end-to-end lifecycle of customer firewalls (Fortigate primary)
• SD-WAN Deployment and Day-2 Management - design, deploy, optimise, troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions
• Client-Facing Technical Support - escalation point for managed services customers, onboarding
• Product Development and Testing - support Network Design team in scoping, lab-testing, productising
• Documentation, Automation and Knowledge Transfer - author configuration templates, runbooks, SOPs
• Service Governance - contribute to SLA reporting, customer reviews, capacity planning, change

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years experience in network security engineering, at least 2 in managed services or MSSP
• Production experience with Fortigate (FortiOS); strong plus for Palo Alto, Cisco, Check Point
• Knowledge of security best practices incl. segmentation, identity management, threat prevention
• Scaled SD-WAN deployment/operations experience (Fortinet, Cisco, VMware, Versa, Aruba)
• Experience with centralized management platforms (FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer, Panorama)
• Advanced IP routing/switching: BGP, OSPF, HA protocols, VLAN, STP, QoS
