Management Accountant - 6 Month FTC

📋 Description

• Monthly management reporting, including preparation of month end workbooks, posting journals
• Preparation of year-end financial statements, working closely with Group finance team and tax team
• Preparation and filing of VAT returns
• Managing the reasonable assurance engagement for the ECO scheme government grant
• Leading the wind-down of the business from a finance perspective and transition to dormant entity

🎯 Requirements

• Qualified chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with solid understanding of financial
• Confident working with large and complex sets of data, with strong Excel skills
• Good understanding of UK accounting standards, including FRS 102, and how to apply in practice
• Great communicator who can explain complex financial information clearly
• Super organised, proactive and self-motivated, comfortable taking ownership of workload
• Brilliant eye for detail and takes pride in getting things right in financial reporting
