Management Accountant

📋 Description

• Supporting month-end close activities and preparing journals, accruals, prepayments and other
• Preparing monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting analysis
• Analysing financial performance and highlighting key variances, risks and opportunities
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and wider business-planning activities
• Maintaining effective financial controls and following agreed governance and approval processes
• Assisting with statutory accounts, tax, VAT, regulatory and lender reporting requirements

🎯 Requirements

• Newly qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification
• Strong understanding of financial and management accounting principles
• Experience preparing management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with detailed financial information
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively
