Manager, Accounting

📋 Description

• Own the general ledger, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close calendar, meet close deadlines, and drive reductions
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries, including work prepared by
• Perform financial, variance, and flux analysis, and develop performance metrics.
• Manage the accounts payable function and AP staff, including priorities, workload, coverage, and
• Review and approve payment batches before release, and review the annual 1099 filing.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or
• Hands-on experience managing accounts payable operations.
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, the month-end close, and internal controls.
• Proficiency with accounting and business systems such as NetSuite, Salesforce, Avalara, and
• Proven ability to coach and develop staff and to set team priorities during close and audit periods.
