Manager, Accounting

📋 Description

• Oversee monthly and quarterly accounting for real estate investments.
• Consolidate property trial balances and apply GAAP adjustments per ASC 970/820.
• Manage investment-level debt, property taxes, and other accruals.
• Prepare investment and debt schedules; support valuation and fair value entries.
• Review reconciliations, variance analyses, and month/quarter end tasks.
• Prepare schedules for audits, tax prep, valuations, and external reporting.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5+ years Fund Accounting; Yardi Investment Accounting module preferred.
• Knowledge of open/closed-end real estate funds and PE fee structures.
• Prior fund accounting including full-cycle accounting in Yardi.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication, detail-oriented, proactive team player.
