Manager, Coding Solutions

📋 Description

• Manage coding workflows to reduce backlogs, resolve system issues, and optimize revenue cycle
• Communicate regularly with coding staff, CDI teams, physicians, and other departments to coordinate
• Monitor satisfaction levels and identify opportunities to improve service quality and team
• Identify, investigate, and participate in the timely resolution of operational problems and issues.
• Provide periodic status reports and performance updates to leadership.
• Schedule department staff according to workload volumes and appropriately prioritize assignments.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree or equivalent relevant education.
• National coding certification through AAPC or AHIMA.
• CCS, CCS-P, or CDEO certification is preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining coding credentials through ongoing continuing education and CEUs.
• At least 3 years of medical coding experience in inpatient, outpatient, or professional services
• At least 2 years of previous leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
