Manager, Controllership (Regional & Insurance)

📋 Description

• Own the month-end and year-end close for the entities in scope (Regional operations entities
• Prepare and review statutory financial statements under applicable reporting frameworks, and manage
• Maintain a robust control environment across the entities, including balance sheet reviews
• Act as the subject matter expert on insurance accounting, including premium and claims recognition
• Work with actuarial and business teams to translate reserving and valuation outputs into the
• Assess and document the accounting treatment of new insurance products, distribution arrangements

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related discipline
• Recognized professional accounting qualification (CA Singapore, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) is
• Minimum 8 years of relevant accounting experience, with a substantial portion in the insurance
• Demonstrated expertise in insurance audit with a public accounting firm, or in an accounting
• Experience managing multiple legal entities and reporting deadlines across jurisdictions
