Manager - Corporate Accounting - Internally Developed Software

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting for internally developed software, including capitalization assessments, cost
• Establish and maintain policies and controls for identifying, classifying, and accounting for
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and IT to validate project status, development milestones, and
• Manage the full fixed-asset lifecycle, including capitalization, depreciation, tracking, disposals
• Maintain fixed-asset capitalization thresholds and policies, working with Facilities and

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
• 7–10 years of progressive relevant experience in public accounting, preferably Big 4, or within a
• Demonstrated experience with internally developed software accounting, including capitalization
• Strong U.S. GAAP expertise, particularly ASC 350-40 for software, ASC 360 for fixed assets, and ASC
• Experience with U.S. GAAP accounting, administration, and analysis, including SOX-compliant
